Does a Neck Lift Tighten Loose Neck Skin?

Published on March 16, 2020

Loose neck skin or ‘Turkey Neck’ is a common, albeit unceremonious sign of aging. As you grow older, your neck muscles start drooping and your skin is deprived of elasticity. This results in loose neck skin.

A neck lift tightens your loose neck by trimming away the skin around your lower chin and neck. The surgeon repositions your muscles and fat for a firmer and smoother contour. In the end, your skin will be redraped over your neck.

A neck lift tightens your loose neck skin, giving you a younger appearance. Your neck is contoured according to your facial aesthetics, giving you a natural and a well-rounded look. The healing time can extend for a few months, depending on the extent of your surgery.
